Re: not coping

I don't know how you do it. You're amazing @outlander

I'm here if you need a hug.

Re: not coping

I didn’t have much to unpack @tyme probably 6 boxes including clothing so there wasn’t much to do.
Remaking the bed was the hardest with all the new sheets.
I don’t have much time between now and surgery plus I still have work so I have to do it no matter how exhausted I am.
I wish I could get a loan so I could get more supports in place but I have a way to get there and get home so I guess that’s what matters

Re: not coping

Are you able to contact the hospital to organise supports/transport for you @outlander ?

Re: not coping

No @tyme it’s only day surgery so they will discharge me when I’m ready to go. I have transport etc organised it’s just for support after it. I have none so I don’t know

Re: not coping

Have you ever reached out to your family? Or is it that you don't want to reach out to them (that's okay).

It just seems like you have helped them so much and when you need something, you have so little support @outlander

Re: not coping

It’s a point where they have made me so uncomfortable around them I don’t want to be around them @tyme l hide so much from them that honestly I’m a stranger to them all and I’d rather kee it that way now

Re: not coping

Fair enough @outlander . I hope you find what works for you.

Re: not coping

Thank you @tyme
The shifts I’m working leading up to the surgery are so boring. I’ve been here all day and still have overnight to go. The time is going so slow I feel like it’s still morning

Re: not coping

Hey @outlander , thinking of you. How are you?

Re: not coping

Hey @tyme made it through surgery. Just recovering now. Still in hospital at the moment due to a tough recovery. I’m able to get up and move abit today so hopefully tomorrow I’ll be able to head home
