Hrm... have you checked your settings under your profile? There are various defaults you can chose. 

If you see a pattern, let me know so I can report it. I'm a bit confused as to what to report because it works sometimes, but doesn't work other times. I think they will need a specific link, thread and post for me to report it.

I’ve gone to settings and it’s all right @tyme. If no one else has said anything then it doesn’t matter. It’s just hit and miss. I understand that makes it difficult.

I am feeling really dumb and stupid. It’s just something that I know and have to learn to live with. 

My anxiety is out of control. 

Yes it gets really cold. Just to try and explain how cold. If you put washing in the line while the frost is still falling in the morning (I’m talking 7 -8am) it can freeze. One house that I lived in, I’d get up to get ready for work, go to the toilet and flush it. The water in the cistern would go through but the cistern wouldn’t fill up, why? The pipes were frozen so I had no water. Never put hot water on a windscreen with frost as it will crack. Some of the frosts, if you throw cold water on the windscreen it can freeze on top. The little windscreen washers freeze so you have no water. My car is parked in the garage. When I get it out to go to work in the morning the frost can fall on it. If I happen to use my windscreen washers with the water the windscreen will freeze on the spot. 

I don’t know if that helps. There is so much more that happens too. It can be a very expensive time with busted pipes and burst hot water systems
