Family Member Complaining About My Seizures

Sorry I don't know what to title this. It's more of a vent than anything.

Basically, I'm going on a short holiday with my family. I contributed money for my room with my disability pension, my sibling has not contributed financially. My parents have covered most of the cost of the holiday. To save money, I am sharing a room with my sibling, who has been complaining about the fact I experience seizures during the night. The issue is I make loud noises during the seizure that can be continuous for hours.

I don't want to wave the ableist card, but I feel frustrated that it's somehow my fault that I'm experiencing seizures - especially since their recent behavior has directly contributed to an increase in my seizures.

Oh gosh that's awful @PeterStrahm no one deserves to be invalidated like that.

I think you should wave the ableist card!! But that's just me, and obvs that could create more trouble for you depending on the person you're waving it at.
